HairTransplantCosts.net is a small, independently run site. This page covers what happens to your data when you use the calculator, browse the guides, or send us a message. Last reviewed 2026-06-17.

What never leaves your device

The graft, method, clinic tier, and ZIP code you enter into the calculator are processed entirely in your browser using client-side JavaScript. We do not log those selections, and we have no record of what any individual visitor typed into the tool. If you use the "copy link" feature to save an estimate, those same values are stored only in the URL, not on our servers.

What we do collect

If you fill out the contact form, we receive whatever name, email address, and message you choose to provide, solely to reply to you. Separately, like almost every website, we pick up standard technical signals through cookies and analytics tags: browser and device type, an approximate location derived from IP address, and which pages you viewed. We do not collect any health information, medical history, or details about a hair loss condition, even though the site's topic is medical in nature.

Advertising and cookies

This site runs ads through Google AdSense. Google and its advertising partners may set cookies to show ads based on your visits here and elsewhere, and to measure how those ads perform. You can turn off ad personalization at adssettings.google.com, and see the full list of participating vendors at www.aboutads.info.

Analytics

We use Google Analytics in aggregate form to see which guides get read and which do not, so we know what to improve. If you prefer not to be counted, the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on will block it.

Cookie consent and your rights

Visitors in the EEA, UK, and Switzerland see a consent banner before any non-essential cookie is set, and can accept or decline advertising and analytics cookies there. You can withdraw consent at any time by clearing cookies for this site. Who we share data with

We do not sell contact-form submissions. Data is shared only with the vendors that keep the site running, namely our analytics provider, our ad network, and the form-delivery service that routes contact messages to us, and only to the extent needed for those functions.

Children

This site is written for adults evaluating a cosmetic procedure and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children.
